BEET & GOAT CHEESE SALAD
With summer within reach, I find myself looking for lighter recipes and side dishes, especially salads. Salads are an easy way to get leafy greens into your daily routine and don’t weigh you down. This Beet and Goat Cheese Salad is one of my favorites.
CHOCOLATE CHIP WAFFLES
The Chocolate Chip Waffles are always a huge hit and have a very special place in my kids’ hearts and not just because they are dang tasty!
GARLIC CAULIFLOWER
Garlic Cauliflower
This recipe is as easy as they come - just the way I like it. Four ingredients and some time are all it takes.
CORNMEAL WAFFLES
HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WAFFLE DAY!
To celebrate, we are making a boat ton of waffles. Two recipes, Chocolate Chip Waffles (my kids’ favorite - recipe to come in the following weeks) and Cornmeal Waffles with a spicey twist. With crispy edges from the cheese and a light texture, these are sure to be one of your favorites too.
HOMEMADE VANILLA
Ever wonder what is in “Imitation Vanilla Extract”? After a quick Google search, I now know and kinda wish I didn’t. In this post, I’ll show you just how easy it is to make your own Pure Vanilla Extract for your pantry or as an easy gift idea.
HOMEMADE RICOTTA
Ever buy Ricotta from the store and think “huh”? Unimpressive, tasteless, sometimes dry, and just an overall bummer? With just three ingredients you can make your own fresh Ricotta!
KALE PASTA
Looking to get more leafy greens into your kids’ (and your) diet? My Kale Pasta Recipe is a hit my youngest and is very versatile. Serve as a vegetarian dish or add cooked chicken breast if you are looking for more protein.
Give it a try!
BLUEBERRY PANCAKES
Blueberry Pancakes AND Hall & Oates. That is our Sunday morning tradition. This is a go-to meal that our entire family LOVES! Not entirely sure why Hall & Oates became our music of choice but does it really matter? It’s Hall & Oates!!
THE BEST BANANA BREAD
Any banana bread fans out there? Until about 10 years ago, I was not. Usually, banana bread is full of nuts (not hating on nuts, just don’t like them in my bread) or it didn’t taste very much like bananas. So I skipped it. That changed when I had kids.
SIMPLE GRANOLA
I love granola. LOVE IT! It’s crunchy, sweet, and healthy, right? I thought it was until I looked at the label of what I was eating. Until I saw how much fat and sugar was is in it. Good gravy! Not nearly as healthy as I thought. With that, I stopped buying it for years.
SPINACH GREEK YOGURT
A few years ago I wanted to get more leafy greens into my diet so I looked up some green smoothie recipes and it turns out they are stinkin’ delicious! Especially with pineapple and oranges? So good! But that’s a recipe for a different day.
